Job Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\x93 Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
\xe2\x80\x93 Analyzing data collected and recording results.
\xe2\x80\x93 Analyzing changes in raw materials, manufacturing methods, to determine effects on cost.
\xe2\x80\x93 Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
\xe2\x80\x93 The Cost Accountant records cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
\xe2\x80\x93 Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports.
\xe2\x80\x93 Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
\xe2\x80\x93 Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
\xe2\x80\x93 Maintaining Cost Accounting System.
\xe2\x80\x93 Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger.
\xe2\x80\x93 Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program.
\xe2\x80\x93 Reconciles finished goods inventories.
\xe2\x80\x93 Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards.
\xe2\x80\x93 Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Job Requirements:
\xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 4 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in accounting & customer management.
\xe2\x80\x93 Having CA/ ICWA / CMA (from a reputed college) qualification.
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong Cost Systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
\xe2\x80\x93 Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant / Inter-CA.
\xe2\x80\x93 Chemical industry experience is a must.
\xe2\x80\x93 Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
\xe2\x80\x93 Understanding of Indirect Taxes.
\xe2\x80\x93 Familiarity with financial statements.
\xe2\x80\x93 Good presentation skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Hands-on experience with accounting software packages such as MS Dynamics Business Central, SAP or Oracle.
\xe2\x80\x93 Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
\xe2\x80\x93 Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Polite, presentable, and good interpersonal skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong communication skills.
