About the job Cosmetic Dentist

Our client is the most google reviewed dental clinic in UAE and the only dental center in the GCC region that is affiliated with a dental school. They are looking for a bi-lingual (English & Russian) speaking Cosmetic Dentist.

Purpose:

To provide quality dental care in all phases of general dentistry in accordance with generally accepted dental practices, standards, and levels of care established in accordance with the governance of the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) Guidelines. Reports to the Centers Dental Director on clinical matters and to the Centers Manager for non-clinical matters.

Major responsibilities of the job

• Diagnosing oral diseases
• Promoting oral health and disease prevention
• Patient Education
• Creating treatment plans to maintain or restore the oral health of their patients
• Proper, accurate & comprehensive treatment visit documentation [time stamped]
• Maintain an accurate record of patient sick-leaves
• Limit external patient referrals, unless necessary
• Interpreting x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Ensuring the safe administration of anesthetics
• Monitoring growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Performing routine dental work and cosmetic dental work based on privileges and expertise
• Review patients medical history making sure significant findings are considered and addressed prior to patient treatment
• Accurately post billable services to patients account following treatment
• Prescribe, prepare, and administer drugs or medicine to patients as needed

Position Qualifications

• Dental Specialty Education and Training (As per HAAD Credentialing Criteria)
• General Dentistry - Preventing and controlling dental disease through organized community efforts
• Endodontics - Diagnosing, preventing and treating diseases and injuries of dental pulp and surrounding tissues; performing root canals
• Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics - Diagnosing, intercepting and correcting dental and facial irregularities
• Pediatric Dentistry - Diagnosing and treating the oral health care needs of infants and children through adolescence
• Periodontics - Diagnosing and treating diseases of gum tissue and bones supporting teeth
• Prosthodontics - Restoring natural teeth or replacing missing teeth or oral structures with artificial devices, such as dentures
