Job duties and responsibilities
- Plans, supervises, and implements routine, and non-routine corrosion mitigation and control activities in assigned operational area.
- Conducts corrosion inspection on pipelines, well casing/tubing, and carries out failure investigations related to corrosion attacks on wells, processing, transmitting and storage facilities.
- Analyses related corrosion results and recommends remedial measures. Initiates and implements the Company\xe2\x80\x99s policy on corrosion control.
- Ensures that all surface preparation and coating activities carried out on new and existing facilities are in accordance with approved specifications.
- Ensures that all corrosion mitigation measures are consistently applied in accordance with accepted practices and standards.
- Minimum 5 years\' experience working in a similar position within the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Preferably candidates with a 3-year Diploma or B.Sc. in Electro Chemistry or Science Metallurgy.
- The candidate shall have qualifications, experience, and certification in cathodic protection, coating, corrosion coupon.
- Work hours/days \xe2\x80\x93 9hrs/7 days.
- Work Schedule \xe2\x80\x93 60 days\xe2\x80\x99 work/30 days\xe2\x80\x99 off.
- Accommodation and Transportation \xe2\x80\x93 Provided by Company
- Remuneration \xe2\x80\x93 4109 AED
