The Role
As a Corporate PR Account Executive, you\'ll be reporting into the Account Manager and drive the success of client campaigns by developing creative PR plans, crafting diverse materials, and serving as a vital link between our team and clients. You\'ll build lasting relationships with media contacts, pitch releases across various platforms, coordinate events, and ensure seamless project delivery through collaboration with other teams. With a keen eye on media coverage, you\'ll prepare detailed reports and analytics, providing high-quality client services and contributing fresh ideas for business development. Your commitment to continuous learning will keep Q Communications and our clients at the forefront of industry trends.
Skills/Experience

Ideally you will have:
  • A recognized tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • Ideally 2 years of local market experience in an agency.
  • A strong interest in a career in the Communications/PR industry.
  • Knowledge and experience of the local media landscape. A strong interest in a career in the Communications/PR industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as high-level presentation skills.
  • Creative flair and a demonstrated ability to use that to bring engaging PR content to life.
  • Knowledge and experience working with various social media platforms.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, trust and credibility with clients, colleagues, journalists and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high levels of client service to a busy portfolio of clients.
  • An ability to work as part of a team to deliver services to clients.
  • An ability to work independently, seeking guidance when required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines within a busy schedule.
  • High levels of resilience in dealing with client requests and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated professionalism including being punctual, well presented, responsive and reliable.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • A commitment to stay across industry development and trends.
