Apply Today! The candidate for this position will be successful if they can execute a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature. These tasks will include working with attorneys, paralegals, and other firm members with a series of administrative functions. Therefore, the candidate will have to have effective time management and organizational skills coupled with the ability to be detail-oriented. Responsibilities for Legal Secretary

  • Transcribe and proofread legal documents
  • Accurately file documents with the court ahead of deadlines
  • Process third party and vendor invoices
  • Arrange travel arrangements for attorneys
  • File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents promptly
  • Answer phone calls, take notes/messages, and redirect calls when appropriate
  • Schedule court depositions, hearings, and other meetings
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and providing timely reminders
Skills Qualifications for Legal Secretary
  • 5+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal secretary
  • Fluent in both Arabic & English
  • Familiarity with legal documents and terminology
  • Working knowledge of litigation management software systems
  • Ability to type with a speed of at least 50 wpm with high accuracy in both Arabic and English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues
  • Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
  • Superior written and oral communication skills

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
