Providing legal guidance to the organization to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Job Responsibilities: Providing legal counsel to senior management on various matters, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contractual obligations. Review and provide legal advice to support proper business process. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company's interests. Managing contract renewals, amendments, and terminations Draft and review Joint Venture Agreements, Power of Attorney, Memorandum of Understanding, Shareholder Agreements, Intercompany and other corporate documents Monitoring contract performance and ensuring compliance with terms. Oversee and manage any legal disputes or litigation involving the company, coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a culture of compliance within the organization. Identify legal risks and advise the organization on the mitigation of such risks. Implement risk management strategies in collaboration with other departments to safeguard company interests. Desired Candidate Profile Educational Background: A bacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in law (LLB) is typically required; a Master's degree or additional certifications in corporate law or related fields are advantageous. 10 years of experience in a Corporate legal role. In-depth knowledge of corporate and commercial law Strong ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documents and compliance matters.
