We are seeking a senior corporate lawyer to provide legal counsel to senior leadership and internal stakeholders in a timely and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising on company law matters, M&A, joint ventures and other corporate transactional work;
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contractual arrangements, particularly Hotel Management Agreements and related documentation;
• Counselling stakeholders on corporate governance matters; preparing, managing and implementing corporate policies;
• Keeping the group companies in good standing in terms of secretarial and regulatory compliance;
• Managing any dispute arising out of the business; familiarity with UAE Court litigation and UAE arbitration processes is an advantage;
• Dealing with general day-to-day legal matters, including procurement, software licensing, professional services, employment, financing/treasury and real estate.

Qualifications:

• Member in good standing of a recognised Bar, with more than 10 years post qualification experience, preferably including a period within a large hospitality/hospitality management company and/or substantial real estate entity in the UAE;
• Bilingual in English and Arabic (preferred) with strong verbal communication and drafting capabilities;
• Network of contacts with external law firms.

The role will report to the Group CFO and be based in Dubai.
