About the role: As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of corporate communications activities and media relations on behalf of the company.
  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans for key events and business areas within the company
  • Think creatively across the range of PR solutions to enhance departmental output
  • Draft press releases, statements, emergency responses, social media posts, C-Suite and senior staff presentations and speeches to promote, protect and enhance Qatar Airways' global brand presence.
  • Handle traditional media and social media inquiries in a timely manner to promote and protect the reputation of Qatar Airways across all media channels.

Qualifications About you:
  • You will have a minimum of a College or University Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
  • Multi-national experience working in diverse markets
  • Proven ability to think and plan strategically
  • Experience in providing communication support at C-Suite level, including speechwriting
  • Previous employment in a professional Journalism, PR or Communications role.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Flexible, dynamic, robust with the ability to react quickly
  • Understanding of Crisis Communications
Preferred
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry
