Your Role
The Origination Enabler supports the Originators by producing accurate and timely analysis of clients capital structures, due diligence, compiling competitor data, producing pitch book presentations and supporting clients and the Sales/Coverage team through the book building phase. The Origination Enabler will develop a good understanding of the origination processes, product offerings and assist with the preparation of internal desk reports and pipeline information, working under the guidance of the Originators.

Your key responsibilities:
Assist the Corporate banking relationships for MEA Corporates clients and prospects
Assist senior bankers in business origination across Deutsche Banks solutions set and countries
Coordinate the contribution of different partners within the firm (Corporate Bank, Institutional Client Group, Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Markets)
Ensuring in close cooperation with Local Relationship Management and product teams that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our client across different geographies and products are explored
Provide financial analysis, risk assessment and analytical support for clients situations
Owner of credit approval requests centrally and in-country - Liaise with Credit Risk Officers in the name of the product sales teams
Pro-actively maintain knowledge of the developments in the core product set to explore and refer opportunities
Maintain regular and frequent dialogue with product partners and global network to deliver against the client agenda
Produce best in class presentations to support the marketing effort
Involve senior management in key client presentations to emphasize alignment with Deutsche Banks commitment to build the business
Establishing and maintaining KYC profiles and other required client information in accordance with the Banks policies and procedures and ensuring on-time completeness of all client-related KYC requirements
Assisting team leaders to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as prompt work process adjustments from time to time to adapt to changes in the market/regulatory environments
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 1-2 years related experience at a leading commercial or investment bank.
A graduate to Masters level degree (or relevant international equivalent)
Strong analytical skills: assimilating new information quickly and pro-actively relating them to the needs of the client base. Fast learning and proactive problem solving skills crucial
Excellent interpersonal skills: effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
Networking skills: relationship builder with internal stakeholders and clients
Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, including credit analysis
Computer skills: Excel financial modelling skills and PowerPoint presentation skills
Strong interest to work in diverse global client teams
Language skills: fluent in English. Proficient in French or Arabic
Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork;
Knowledge of the Middle East & African financial markets and the wider emerging market landscape would be a distinct advantage
