Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Coordinator to facilitate the end-to-end loan application process in our mortgage services department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting necessary documents from customers, liaising with the mortgage team, and ensuring tracking of a smooth loan application and closure process. The Loan Coordinator will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining effective communication throughout the loan lifecycle between the customer and Mortgage Advisor. Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to collect all required documents for loan applications.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents, promptly requesting any missing or additional information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the loan application process, addressing their inquiries and providing timely updates.
- Coordinate with the mortgage team to ensure the seamless transfer of documents and information, maintaining clear and effective communication channels.
- Monitor the progress of loan applications, tracking milestones and deadlines to ensure timely processing.
- Regularly follow up with customers and internal stakeholders to provide status updates and address any potential roadblocks.
- Keep track of all loan applications, including their status, key milestones, and potential bottlenecks.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing the progress of loan applications, providing insights to management and relevant stakeholders.
