About the Role

Our hotel-lobby cafe (inside) and food truck (outside) run as one late-night operation. You'll lead cooking on the truck, serving

walk-up guests

and fulfilling

Talabat delivery orders

that are coordinated from the cafe.

What You'll Do

Line cooking & expediting

Prepare, cook, and pack to specification; maintain tight ticket times during rush hours. Coordinate timing with the cafe so

drinks + hot food

leave together.

Dual order channels: walk-up + Talabat

Work with the cafe lead on

Talabat acceptance/ETA settings

. Batch and prioritize tickets to meet pickup windows while keeping the

walk-up queue moving

. Ensure correct

packaging, sealing, labeling, and temperature control

for delivery orders.

Driver handoff & pickups

Keep a clean, organised pickup/handoff zone; minimize driver wait times. Verify order numbers, modifiers, and add-ons before release.

Order flow & tools

Food safety & cleanliness

Follow UAE Food Code/HACCP, log temps, label FIFO, and maintain nightly cleaning checklists.

Inventory & communication

Do nightly counts, report shortages, and complete shift handovers with the cafe team. Give feedback on yields, waste, and menu improvements.

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Valid UAE visa already in place

(own/freelance/employer-sponsored).

Applications without an active visa cannot be considered.

Fluent English

(spoken & written) for ticket calls, drivers, and guest interaction.

Proven line-cook experience

in fast-paced kitchens (food truck/QSR preferred). Strong

food hygiene & safety

knowledge (HACCP/Person-in-Charge L2 is a plus). Available for

night shifts

, weekends, and public holidays.

Nice to Have

Experience with

Talabat

(or similar: Deliveroo, Careem) flow & tablets. Cross-station ops (kitchen + bar/cafe) experience. UAE F&B experience and supplier familiarity. UAE driving license; POS basics.
