Delight our guest by cooking quality dishes within set time standards, as per our recipes with approved ingredients only while adhering to strict food hygiene and safety standards.

- Always ensure personal hygiene with a smart & clean appearance in the correct uniform
- Delight the customer by providing quality and timely prepared foods
- Prepare and cook food items while ensuring all recipe standards are followed
- Ensure only approved ingredients are used
- Plate and garnish dishes as per set presentation standards and portion control
- Notify Expediter / Servers / food runners of completed orders
- Follow sanitation guidelines and comply with all health, safety, food hygiene and employment legislation as trained
- To work towards high scores in all inspections and audits
- Make requisitions / purchase requests as per expected consumption levels
- De-box, label, store and rotate food as per set rules and regulations, using FIFO
- Practice cost-cutting measures
- Process and manage food tickets
- Track food quality and ensure its up to the highest standard
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers
- Perform assigned opening, operational and closing procedures
- Co-operate with managers and supervisors and follow their direction
- Basic or Intermediate food hygiene certificate
- Experience of working in a high volume branded kitchen environment
- High School Degree and minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a cook within an up-market food and beverage environment
