Job Description

Food Preparation

: Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and quality standards. This includes washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.

Cooking

: Cook dishes that meet the establishment's standards for taste and presentation, ensuring timely delivery of meals.

Sanitation and Cleanliness

: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas, including proper handling and storage of food.

Collaboration

: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs and line cooks, to ensure efficient food preparation and service.

Inventory Management

: Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.

Menu Development

: Contribute ideas for daily specials and assist in menu planning and recipe development.

Training

: Mentor and train junior kitchen staff as needed, ensuring they understand food safety and preparation techniques.
