Maintain inventory of Biryani ingredients and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and monitoring food costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, implementing proper sanitation procedures.
Collaborate with the management team to develop Biryani specials, promotions, and menu enhancements.
Provide input for improving Biryani recipes, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback related to Biryani dishes, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Biryani or Indian cuisine, preferably with expertise in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variations.
Strong knowledge of Biryani cooking techniques, spice blends, and regional variations for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred.
Excellent culinary skills and creativity in recipe development, with attention to detail and presentation.
Leadership abilities and effective communication skills to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
