Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, washing, peeling, and storing
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately
Cook food according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
Prepare cold dishes and support mise en place
Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and kitchen equipment safely
Test and monitor food during cooking to ensure correct doneness
Set up and break down workstations efficiently
Maintain kitchen hygiene by cleaning tools, knives, equipment, and surfaces
Check and record temperatures of appliances and food items
Follow safety and security policies, and report any unsafe conditions
Maintain a professional appearance and respect confidentiality of company information
Support team goals with clear communication and positive collaboration
Stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Carry or move items up to 25 pounds as required
Perform additional kitchen duties assigned by supervisors
Ideal Profile
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of related kitchen or food preparation experience
Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, food hygiene, and safety practices
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and presentation standards
Physically fit to handle long shifts and continuous movement
Good communication and teamwork skills
