Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of authentic dishes from diverse African regions (e.g., West, East, South Africa).
Follow established recipes and menu specifications precisely to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
Source, inspect, and properly handle African-specific ingredients.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workstation.
Monitor stock, minimize waste, and assist with inventory management.
Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications
Deep knowledge of traditional African cooking techniques and flavor profiles is mandatory.
[2+] years of experience as a Cook, ideally in African cuisine.
Valid Food Handler's certification.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment.
