Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant's menu, ensuring the highest quality and presentation standards.
Menu Adherence:
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper handling and storage of food and ingredients in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or equivalent).
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining inventory by ensuring the proper rotation of food products and reporting shortages or stock discrepancies to the Head Chef.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and support team members as required.
Safety:
Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents, including the proper use of kitchen equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of food preparation and ensure that all dishes are served at the correct temperature, portion size, and presentation.
Special Requirements:
Prepare special dishes or dietary-specific meals as required by customers (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.).
Skills:
Proficiency in various cooking techniques (grilling, sauteing, baking, etc.)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP).
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Language:
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Work Authorization:
Eligible to work in the UAE (Abu Dhabi).
