Job Description

Summary Lead cross-regional teams responsible for materials management, project planning and global parts distribution. Oversee daily planning, project coordination, and the expediting of the flow of materials according to forecasts, production schedules, and build plans. Manage Control Parts and Project KPIs, such as on-time delivery, overdue backlog, and inventory, as well as the daily management of standard work for the parts and material management across the regional teams for Control Solutions & Services (CSS). Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Maintain cross-functional rhythms to ensure the material plan across CSS is in line with business expectations and customer needs.
  • Partner with the team to ensure planning parameters and stocking levels support our customers and the forecasts for future demand.
  • Establish and monitor the team\xe2\x80\x99s daily standard work.
  • Manage relationships with the contracted and salary workforces in the CSS footprint.
  • Coordinate with customers and project teams on order status, prioritization, and expedites.
  • Act as SAP-super user for CSS Materials team. This is inclusive but not limited to migration activities and multi-region SOPs.
  • Lead team through problem-solving activities, RCAs, and lean toolkit deployment and topic specific work-outs and kaizens as needed.
  • Contribute to overall business programs by engaging with cross-functional teams through active relationship building.
  • Engage with engineering/NPI/product line teams to proactively understand EOL timelines and part substitution cut-in schedules.
  • Work closely with Finance teams on E&O levels and timelines.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Any further tasks not defined in this that the immediate leader assigns verbally or in writing.
Required Qualifications
  • This role requires significant experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master\'s degree from an accredited university.
  • Master\'s degree from an accredited university with proven experience in similar role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English Language.
