Job Description

Seeking an experienced Control Framework Specialist for our UAE banking client to implement security control frameworks with focus on cloud resilience and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong GRC expertise and UAE banking sector experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security control frameworks aligned with UAE Central Bank regulations
• Develop cloud resilience frameworks for multi-cloud banking environments
• Ensure compliance with UAE banking regulations, data protection laws, and international standards
• Apply GRC concepts to integrate governance, risk management, and compliance
• Conduct cloud risk assessments and vendor evaluations for cloud service providers
• Support regulatory examinations and external audits
• Prepare executive reports on control framework maturity and compliance status

Required Qualifications
Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or Banking & Finance
• 5-7 years in cybersecurity/GRC within banking or financial services
• Hands-on cloud security frameworks and resilience planning experience

Technical Skills

• Expertise in banking frameworks (SWIFT CSP, PCI DSS)
• Strong GRC concepts understanding (risk appetite, integrated risk management)
• Cloud security controls knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with GRC platforms (ServiceNow, Archer, MetricStream)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field
• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCSP
• UAE regulatory certifications
• Digital banking transformation experience
