Support Business Development by reviewing draft contracts and providing guidance on suitable forms of contracts.
Engage with Finance and Compliance/HSSE to ensure proper assessment of contractual obligations.
Provide guidance on contractual and legal matters during the post-contract phase.
Monitor and manage contractual and legal requirements.
Participate in contractual meetings with third parties, including clients and sub-contractors.
Collaborate with project teams to identify potential claims and propose strategies to mitigate them.
Compile and review changes for client approval and assist project teams with change requests from sub-contractors.
Supervise contracts personnel across projects and provide necessary training.
Develop and maintain procedures for contracts management and administration.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal/external audits.
Application Requirements:
At least 12-15 years of experience in Contract Management, preferably in procurement, commercial, project management, or Oil & Gas services.
At least 5 years of managerial experience.
Legal LLB and/or Degree in Quantity Surveyor/Law/Business/Contracts or related studies.
Strong commercial awareness and experience in Contract Law.
Proven experience in contract negotiations and vendor management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and dispute resolution skills.
Analytical, decisive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
English language proficiency is mandatory.
