Key Responsibilities
Lead
contract administration
for main contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements
Draft, review, and manage
FIDIC-based contracts
, amendments, and correspondence
Identify, assess, and mitigate
contractual risks, variations, and claims
Oversee
change management
, including EOTs, variations, and cost implications
Support project teams in
dispute avoidance, claims preparation, and negotiations
Coordinate with
legal advisors, consultants, and senior management
on contractual matters
Ensure compliance with
contractual obligations, local regulations, and internal policies
Review and approve
payment applications, final accounts, and settlement agreements
Maintain accurate
contract registers, records, and commercial reports
Advise management on
commercial strategy and risk exposure
throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Law, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
Minimum
8-12 years of experience
in contracts/commercial management within construction or real estate
Strong working knowledge of
FIDIC contracts and UAE construction law
Proven experience handling
claims, variations, disputes, and negotiations
Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills
Experience on
high-rise, mixed-use, or large-scale developments
Familiarity with
arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution processes
Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail
