Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors and engineers across the project lifecycle, from initiation, planning, construction, controlling, to the final handover to the client.
- Process and audit claims and variation orders.
- Manage all aspects for processing payment certificates submitted by subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring proper and accurate the computing of the quantities, taxes, retention, advance payments and advance payment recovery, variation orders and claims, and to be aligned with terms and conditions of contract.
- Monitor and ensure project profitability through cost control and cash flow management - cash in and cash out - of the projects to meet predefined budgets.
- Act as the principal point of contact of the project team with subcontractors and suppliers facilitating completing of jobs on time by discussing and resolving all problems and issues.
- Coordinate with the project team and provide commercial and contractual support in achieving all specification, schedule and quality standards of the projects as per agreed upon contractual obligations.
- Provide required support in managing interfaces among contractors executing HVAC, plumbing and firefighting scope of the project ensuring smooth progress of planned jobs.
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc technical, coordination and progress review meetings with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, main contractor and subcontractors.
- Supervise and ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all required commercial, contractual and cost management record as per company policies, procedures and project requirements.
- Work as a team member in all activities related to identification, assessment and mitigation of contractual and commercial risks of the projects.
