CONTRACT MANAGER The Contract Manager plays a critical role in our ability to achieve our goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for contract close-out, extension, and renewal, and you will communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders. We count on our Contract Administration Manager to resolve any contract-related issues that come up, whether internally or externally, and we require an individual who is able to partner with a variety of business support functions, including customer care, sales, and labor relations. Our company is growing rapidly, and our Contract Manager is critical to our success. We are looking for candidates who share our passion for excellence. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts 2. Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters 3. Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation 4. Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally 5. Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension, or renewal, as appropriate 6. Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders 7. Prepare contracts for sales and purchases of materials & services. 8. Create and manage a contracts strategy 9. Generate reports on the current status of existing agreements 10. Review and Negotiate contract terms & conditions, and pricing and follow up to ensure execution according to the negotiated terms. 11. Create a standardized template for new contracts in line with the law and regulations of the country. 12. Analyse and report on specific risks associated with contracts 13. Assist project teams in preparing and submitting pre-qualification documentation 14. Assist in negotiating and the awarding of Prime/subcontracts 15. Assemble and track exhibits for owner agreements and subcontracts. 16. Examine bid proposals and owner agreements for potential conflicts of interest in bid documents and contracts. 17. Create confidentiality agreements and other documentation as needed. 18. Collaborate and establish relationships with people from various backgrounds and organizational levels. 19. Lead by example, provide excellent coaching and feedback and manage performance effectively. 20. Creating client tenders and commercial bids to assist attract new business 21. Meeting with clients to learn about their requirements. 22. Making plans and calculating budgets and timelines 23. Working out budgets and timelines with customers 24. Dealing with any unanticipated expenses 25. Participating in site meetings to track progress and advice on contractual implications. 26. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and site managers and collaborating with other parties to ensure that everyone is aware of their contractual obligations and roles. 27. Ensuring that construction projects adhere to agreed-upon technical specifications 28. Communicating with technical and financial personnel, subcontractors, legal teams, and the client's representatives 29. Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project 30. Ready to Work on site / office as required. Qualifications and skills 1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Preferably Law graduate / MBA. 2. Minimum of Ten (10) years of progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration, or management. 3. Expert in International standard contract formats. 4. Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills and Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5. Strong contract modeling software skills 6. Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio. 7. Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints Job Type: Full-time Salary: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
