Job Description

Qualification: MBA with Minimum 8 yrs of experience. JOB Role: Update and suggest initiatives to facilitate contract procedures, procurement processes and performance monitoring. ? Provide advice and recommendations regarding tendering and contracting processes and policies, including strategy that are consistent with the nature and scope of business, schedule, value and time period for contracting. ? Reviewing and ensuring the integrity and suitability of the bid evaluation criteria, reviewing their application upon request, and ensuring the correct selection of the most appropriate bidder and its ability to provide services. ? Participate in negotiations with suppliers and propose a negotiation strategy regarding prices as well as other contractual terms. ? Recommending and advising in cases of claims and disputes arising between the Center and contractors during the implementation of their contracts and trying to settle those claims in various ways. ? Follow up on all feedback and supplier complaints and work to close them. ? Propose recommendations on all performance requirements, delivery schedules and cost estimates to ensure completeness and accuracy of implementation ? Review and advise on any modifications to contract terms and conditions and/or negotiate extensions of contract deadlines ? Proposing new performance indicators to ensure performance evaluation and suggesting ways to modify/update procedures and policies to advance performance in light of evaluation results ? Reviewing all supplier evaluation criteria to ensure objectivity and accuracy of evaluation ? Review monthly reports to analyze contract status including number of contracts in force, effective contract period, value for money total spend, etc. ? Attending and following up on internal and external audits, cooperating with auditors, and making the necessary recommendations to close their observations (necessary actions (corrective or preventive)) ? Adopting the integration of environmental, health and safety management principles and practices by accelerating the procedures for incorporating health, safety and sustainability policies into existing policies. This includes the complete measurement, monitoring and reporting of environmental, health, safety and sustainability performance indicators, and the implementation of policies, procedures, regulations, rules and regulations approved by all subordinates and partners in all day-to-day transportation operations. Participate fully in administrative procedures and decisions aimed at promoting, protecting and maintaining a sound environment, health and safety in the work environment. ? Performing any other tasks as directed by the Director of Procurement and Contracts Department. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED30,000.00 - AED35,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
