We are seeking an experienced Contracting & Negotiations Manager to manage and optimse partnerships with hotels, negotiating favorable rates and terms, and ensuring seamless coordination with key stakeholders to enhance our product offerings.
The ideal candidate for the Contracting & Negotiations Manager role is a strategic negotiator with strong industry experience and a keen eye for market trends. They are detail-oriented, results-driven, and possess excellent relationship management skills to foster successful collaborations.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Hotel Relationships & Negotiation
Partner with hotels to coordinate and negotiate rates, special offers, seasons, allocations, release periods, overrides, terms & conditions, and cancellation policies, ensuring the best possible rates and conditions.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with hotels to enhance cooperation and secure competitive advantages.
Resolve any rate-related or contractual issues that arise, ensuring a smooth contracting process.
Support the Revenue Department in monitoring market trends and analysing competitors' pricing
Regularly communicate with hotel partners to foster long-term relationships.
Contract Management & System Updates
Work with the Contracting Supervisor to ensure accurate data entry, update, and maintenance of back-office contracting systems to reflect the latest rates, conditions, and policies.
Monitor online systems to track last-minute bookings, cancellations, and contract performance.
Verify that all entered rates and contractual terms are accurate and up to date.
Identify and correct product performance issues, assisting in optimizing sales outcomes.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Work closely with sales, operations, and reservations teams to ensure seamless execution of contractual agreements.
Assist in resolving contracting-related issues raised by other departments.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive sales performance and optimize product offerings.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, IT or related field
Industry Experience - minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts and negotiations, preferably within a Destination Management Company (DMC) or the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Technical Acumen - Hands-on experience in data entry and management of contract-related information.
Negotiation Skills - Strong ability to negotiate favorable terms and resolve disputes efficiently.
Market Knowledge - ability to monitor and analyse market trends and tailor contracting accordingly.
Analytical - a strong aptitude for data analysis, interpreting complex reports, and deriving actionable insights.
* IT Proficiency - Proficiency in relevant contracting and reservation systems.
