Job Description
Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Contract Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all contract-related activities for construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects. Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements. Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization's interests. Provide expert advice on claims, variations, disputes, and contractual obligations. Liaise with project teams, clients, and contractors to resolve contractual issues effectively. Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of contract matters. Support dispute resolution and arbitration processes, coordinating with legal and technical teams. Mentor junior contract staff and provide training on contract management best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
MRICS
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - mandatory.MCIArb
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators - required. Minimum10 years of professional experience
in contract management within large-scale construction or engineering projects. Strong knowledge of contract law, FIDIC, NEC, and other standard forms of contract. Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in contract management software and tools.Job Type: Full-time
