Job Title: Contract Manager Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-timeAREC Engineering Consultants is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of our ongoing and future projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction laws, and proven experience managing contracts in a consultancy or construction environment. The role includes reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, managing claims and variations, and ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities :Prepare, review, and manage consultancy and subcontractor contracts and agreements. Lead contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms. Ensure full compliance with FIDIC conditions and applicable UAE regulations. Evaluate contract risks, suggest mitigation measures, and ensure contractual obligations are met. Manage claims, variations, and disputes in coordination with legal and technical teams. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the proper understanding and implementation of contractual terms. Maintain a log of all contract-related correspondence, changes, and approvals. Provide contractual support to project teams at all stages of the project.Monitor contract performance and ensure timely execution of contractual deliverables.Report periodically to senior management on contract performance, risks, and claims.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Law, or Quantity Surveying.8-12 years of experience in contract management within the UAE (preferably with engineering consultancy firms).Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE government procedures.Proven experience in managing claims, disputes, and contract variations.Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in contract management systems preferred.AREC offers a professional work environment with opportunities to contribute to some of the UAE's most prestigious engineering projects.
