Contract Engineer
Job Description
Provide mechanical and chemical engineering support for water and wastewater systems
Assist in design, selection, and specification of equipment (pumps, valves, piping, mixers, dosing systems)
Support chemical dosing, water quality control, and process optimization
Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and specifications
Work on contract-based projects within agreed scope, timeline, and budget
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients
Support commissioning, testing, startup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preferred)
Experience in water/wastewater projects preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of mechanical systems, water treatment processes, and chemical handling
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Willing to work on-site and on a contract/project basis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR6,500.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
