Draft, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
Ensure compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Maintain organized contract records and support dispute resolution and claims.
Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Procurement & Material Management
Send inquiries, evaluate bids, and coordinate with subcontractors/suppliers.
Prepare procurement schedules and monitor material approvals and deliveries.
Ensure materials meet specifications, project schedules, and ISO 9001 standards.
Handle material submittals, sample arrangements, and consultant/client queries.
Project Coordination
Align with project teams on material needs and delivery timelines.
Attend coordination meetings and provide procurement status updates.
Monitor material availability and support site execution requirements.
Prepare engineering logs and project handover documentation (Ashghal/Woqod).
Tendering & Cost Support
Assist in tenders, pre qualifications, and bid submissions.
Support pricing, estimation, and variation/claim documentation.
Communicate changes and risks to project stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
Prepare progress reports and analyze procurement trends.
Maintain quality documentation and support internal systems (ISO 9001).
Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Contracts Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration within the construction, contracting, industry with Experience in material engineering.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of contract law, construction contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC, etc.), procurement processes, material selection, and project management.
Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
