Contract Administrator - AECOM - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
Contract Administrator supports pre- and post-contract activities on construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai, assisting with contract administration, cost control, variations, and claims in line with FIDIC Red Book and project procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide contract administration support under supervision of senior Contract Administrator or Contracts Manager
  • Assist with preparation and administration of routine contractual correspondence
  • Support preparation of tender documentation and related contractual schedules
  • Help implement, maintain, and monitor contract procedures throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop a working understanding of construction programmes using Primavera P6 and associated logic links
  • Assist with inputs related to time and cost claims
  • Support evaluation of variations, additions, and omissions and reflect changes in monthly cost reports
  • Assist with preparation, pricing, and negotiation of change orders with clients and contractors
  • Maintain organized contract records in line with project controls and QA procedures
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration or quantity surveying roles
  • General knowledge of construction contracts, particularly FIDIC Red Book
  • Familiarity with construction programmes and basic scheduling concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work within structured procedures
  • Progress toward MRICS or equivalent accreditation is preferred
