IRC224610 - CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

At Eni, we are looking for a Contracts Administrator within Eni Abu Dhabi B.V. in Abu Dhabi (UAE). You will be responsible for all the contract administration activities, reporting to the Procurement function and supporting the Contract.

As a member of the procurement department at Eni Abu Dhabi B.V. you will be responsible for:

\xc2\xb7 providing support/assistance to Contract Holder / Head of Procurement Department to

address issues relevant to post-award contract management (such as procedural

clarifications, disputes, contractual changes, etc.);

\xc2\xb7 attending handover meetings and receives relevant information from competent Company\xe2\x80\x99s internal functions to carry out her/his tasks in a proper and efficient manner.

\xc2\xb7 attending the contractual kick-off meetings together with the Contract Holder and any

involved internal functions as well as progress meetings;

\xc2\xb7 preparing minute of meetings within his/her competence;

\xc2\xb7 performing monitoring activities with respect to specific key performance indicators of

assigned contracts, such as the progress of the spending against the relevant

administrative contract value and expiry date of contracts.

\xc2\xb7 Verifying that the awarded contractor has supplied all the documentation required and

requested under the contract to ensure that all contractual obligations and requirements

are fully met in accordance with Regulatory Framework;

\xc2\xb7 ensuring that the competent Contract Holder/User Unit is notified of any irregularities

identified during the execution of the contract within his/her area of competence;

\xc2\xb7 collecting information on the awarded contractor\'s performance during the contract

execution phase and gets Contract Holder relevant approval to enable the issue of

appropriate feedback;

\xc2\xb7 reviewing any requests for changes to the contract and assesses any disputes that might

arise during contract execution phase by verifying their admissibility and applicability

under the terms of the contract;

\xc2\xb7 capturing and disseminating contract administration lessons learned within the Company;

\xc2\xb7 reviewing the admissibility of any claims and the applicability of any liquidated damages

or volume discounts provided for in the contract;

\xc2\xb7 assisting Head of Procurement Department / Contract Holder with preparation / review of

correspondence with contractors on post-award contractual / commercial matters within

the area of competence;

\xc2\xb7 liaising and handling correspondence with the awarded contractor, ensuring traceability

and involving, if necessary, all relevant functions.

\xc2\xb7 Failing the contract management documentation.

\xc2\xb7 Advanced Knowledge of the post award contract management process: application of

\xc2\xb7 procedures, working instructions and contractual standards in Energy Industry \xe2\x80\x93 use

and application of methodologies for the management of variations and claims during

the contract lifecycle with relevant analysis of impact on costs.

\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of pre-award activities: Procurement planning and management \xe2\x80\x93

\xc2\xb7 Technical Bid Evaluations \xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of various types of contracts and different

\xc2\xb7 Procurement Strategies.

\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

\xc2\xb7 Civil law and contractual requirements - Knowledge of: Regulation applicable to

\xc2\xb7 contracts and subcontracts \xe2\x80\x93 Health Safety and Environment \xe2\x80\x93 Safety at worksites \xe2\x80\x93

\xc2\xb7 Technical Specifications and standards \xe2\x80\x93 Contract Terms and Conditions \xe2\x80\x93 International

\xc2\xb7 Petroleum Agreements.

\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of Economics: Cost analysis and purchase pricing \xe2\x80\x93 Financial

\xc2\xb7 Evaluations \xe2\x80\x93 Cost estimating \xe2\x80\x93 Budgeting \xe2\x80\x93 Cost analysis and control.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient personal computer skills (mail, spreadsheet, etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in economics, Law, Engineering or other relevant degree (preferred)

\xc2\xb7 (Senior) or (Junior) relevant experience in Contract Administration of which at least 3 (Senior)\\1 (Junior) in Oil & Gas and/or valid \xe2\x80\x9cContract Management\xe2\x80\x9d certification released by Eni.
