Position Overview
This Continuous Monitoring Auditor role supports the Group Internal Audit function by delivering ongoing, data-driven assurance across high-risk areas such as credit risk, AML/CFT, cybersecurity, and market operations. The position leverages analytics, automation, dashboards, and advanced monitoring tools to detect emerging risks, identify control failures, and enhance real-time governance. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize CAATs, analytics tools, and automated testing methods to expand audit coverage
  • Design and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring workflows for key control metrics
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data sources such as logs, incidents, system configurations, and transactional flows
  • Detect anomalies, emerging risks, and control weaknesses across high-risk domains
  • Develop and execute continuous monitoring strategies aligned with the bank's risk profile
  • Perform ongoing testing of key risk indicators and control performance
  • Monitor operational data in real time to identify issues requiring escalation or audit plan adjustments
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior colleagues
  • Promote ethical behavior and support a value-driven culture within the audit team
  • Monitor financial performance of assigned monitoring areas versus budgets
  • Execute tasks according to GIA policies, procedures, and practice notes
  • Review activities across IB, WB, and Credit portfolios to support audit universe maintenance
  • Prepare and maintain risk assessments for assigned process streams
  • Update audit programs in the audit management tool to reflect evolving risks
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen monitoring efficiency and data-driven audit capabilities
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and provide governance and control advisory support
  • Act as Audit Business Partner and engage regularly with line managers to identify emerging risks
  • Follow up on outstanding audit issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Support special reviews, investigations, and GCAO-assigned tasks
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports aligned with Group audit requirements
Ideal Profile
  • Strong experience in data analytics, continuous auditing, or risk monitoring within a financial institution
  • Knowledge of credit risk, AML/CFT, cybersecurity controls, or market operations
  • Proficiency in analytics tools, automated testing methods, and dashboard development
  • Understanding of core banking systems, data flows, and technology-driven risk indicators
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and identify patterns, anomalies, or control gaps
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
