Job Responsibilities:

Summary

At MAGNA The Continuous Improvement & MPS Engineer drives plant-wide initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance productivity. This role leads MAFACT implementation, facilitates Kaizen events, and ensures sustainable improvements through Lean and Six Sigma practices

Hiring Requirements :

Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies


Implement and assess internally MAGNA FACTORY CONCEPT standards across all areas


Coordinate cross-functional continuous projects to achieve cost reduction and efficiency gains


Participate at the creation of the improvement plan including monthly implementation tracking for all MAFACT sections; present MAFACT status at monthly General Meeting: Score, Status CI Projects, Employee suggestions.

Coordination of MAFACT implementation/ sustaining.


Conduct KAIZEN workshops, create/ revisit Standardized Work for a high runner; identify and track significant improvement of performance related KPI via SW. SW rollout in the division.


Train and mentor teams on continuous improvement tools and cultural change


Create/ revisit Standardized Work for a high runner; identify and track significant improvement of performance related KPI via SW.


Implement/ control MAFACT boards according to MAFACT Guideline.


Setup MAFACT Improvement Board according to the MAFACT Assessment and results.


Support on the implementation of Global Quality System

Ensure KPI management at all departments

Required Profile :

Engineering degree from an engineering school or a higher professional training program


Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing


Knowledge of Industry Standards (ISO, IATF for automotive, etc.)


Strong Knowladge in project management


Strong knowladge in Metal / Trim industrialization is mandatory

Good communication level (English / French)


Excellent leadership skills


Ability to focus on delivering services in a way that enhances/maximizes profitability.


Ensure that the team delivers services that reflect the organization's value and competitive advantage.


Ability to find creative solutions and generate results in a dynamic market environment
