Job title: Continued Airworthiness and Ground Support Team Leader Location: Oman - Adam Airbase Referral Scheme Bonus: £1000 Grade: GG10 What you'll be doing: Delivery of the necessary reconciliation activities required to ensure the configuration, quality and integrity of the CAw Records is maintained. Management of all Continuing Airworthiness (CAw) Records, including the input of aircraft technical log data (hours, cycles, calendar time etc) into the relevant record and maintenance system(s). Management of the provision of information from the CAw Records and interface with Maintenance Tasking and Verification, Fleet Planning, Reliability Programmes and all other key stakeholders, in order to deliver the required standards of Continuing Airworthiness and contract delivery. The effectiveness of CAw Records completion and management processes, including feedback to Part 145 organisation(s) and Suppliers, across all responsible maintenance locations. Ensure escalated issues, including any identified by the Airworthiness Review process, are assessed and effective solutions implemented into the CAw Records activities. The effective management of the Ground Support System(s) (GSS) and Data Integrity activities by setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance improvement programmes. Prioritise activities within/across teams to maximise the efficiency of all GSS systems and aircraft data. Responsible for ensuring that the CAw activities are carried out in a satisfactory manner, generating effective resolution, or sponsoring escalation, as appropriate. Management of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) means of regulatory compliance in the form of Leaflets and LWIs, which support the requirements of the RAFO Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME). Creating a knowledge and knowledge transfer package, detailing processes to ensure effective monitoring and support to enable an effective knowledge and maintenance experience transfer in all CAw, GSS and Data Integrity activities. You'll also have people manager responsibilities in this role.

Your skills and experiences: Essential: HNC/HND or equivalent experience in a military aviation environment - preferably Fast Jet operations High level of Regulatory Framework understanding and the ability to drive this structure into the Continuing Airworthiness (CAw) Records processes and activities. Knowledge and understating of CAw Records Data Analysis and of its role in regulatory and business process and ability to transfer that knowledge to the teams (BAES/ RAFO). Knowledge of configuration management as it affects an airborne weapon system such as Typhoon. An understanding of aircraft maintenance and practical aspects of Supply Chain, the Ground Support System and the principle elements of Explosives and Prohibited Weapons (EaPW). The Continued Airworthiness and Ground Support Systems team: Continued Airworthiness and Ground Support Systems Team is responsible for Aircraft Records, Configuration Management and the Ground Support Systems. You will provide advice and guidance to RAF Oman operatives for the effective management, implementation and monitoring processes/ procedures that underpin both the RAFO Airworthiness Regulations (RAFO AR) Basic Regulation. This is a pivotal role based on a live airbase for the company in Oman. This a rewarding role where you get to see and work on the end product and platform.
