souKare is a health-tech start-up that provides simpler, sooner, smarter online pharmacy and healthcare essentials in the region. souKare\xe2\x80\x99s digital platform is leveraging technology to deliver a best-in-class pharmacy solution at your doorstep while creating a seamless hassle-free health care journey for the end-user. Our vision is to ensure customers never miss a dose of their medication again, never run out of healthcare products, and make smarter, healthier decisions going forward. souKare is in the process of continuously expanding our healthcare and wellness product range/ categories on our website. We are in search of an energetic writer to develop written content for a high volume of new products and assist with marketing content as well. The above role will entail the following main responsibilities:
- Familiarizing yourself with new products to be able to summarize product descriptions in an easy-to-read and eye-catching manner
- Understand basic SEO to write website-friendly content with appropriate links, product images, and tags
- Coordinate with the Operations team to update out-of-stock products and assist with other Adhoc requests
- Liaise with the senior team and provide a daily/ weekly update on progress
- Assist with content for social media including Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn posts
- Design some basic artwork on an Adhoc basis to help with visuals on the website, Facebook Ads, YouTube etc
- Write health blogs on relevant topics to improve the SEO ranking of the website
- Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related disciplines
- Strong writing, comprehension, and excellent communication skills
- Structured, organized and fast-worker
- Positive and friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 1-3 years of work experience as a website content writer is desirable. Fresh graduates with strong writing experience in a professional capacity are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in e-commerce, start-up or a fast-paced environment is a huge plus!
- Able to join immediately
- English fluency is a must, Arabic is a plus
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
