Job Description

Oversee and manage daily container drayage activities to make sure all pickups and deliveries are carried out on time.

Coordinate with drivers, port teams, warehouses and customers to keep operations running smoothly.

Monitor container movements and update all statuses in the system as they happen.

Plan and adjust routes to boost efficiency and help control operating costs.

Handle day-to-day challenges such as delays, equipment availability and driver queries.

Keep track of downtime, demurrage and any additional charges, aiming to reduce them as much as possible.

Prepare clear and timely operational reports and share performance updates when required.

Job Requirements

Hands-on background in freight forwarding or previous experience in container dispatching.

Strong understanding of port procedures, container handling and relevant transport regulations.

Good communication abilities and a practical approach to solving issues.

Familiarity with dispatching tools along with solid skills in Microsoft Office.

Proactive, organized and able to work well within a team.

Flexible with work hours, including early mornings and weekend availability when needed.
