Are you our clients\' new Specialist Vascular Surgery? Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130-bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

Description

Our client is hiring an experienced Consultant or Senior Specialist level Vascular Surgeon to join their medical team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Evaluating patient histories and scheduling consultations prior to surgeries;
• Liaising with other physicians and performing the relevant tests before the surgery;
• Treating conditions related to the veins, arteries, and other blood vessels;
• Performing surgeries to repair veins and arteries and to treat other vascular trauma;
• Consulting with physicians and referring patients to other specialists if required;
• Determining all risks associated with the surgery and clearly outlining them for the patient;
• Addressing all patient concerns and answering their questions as accurately as possible;
• Keeping abreast of advancements in Vascular Surgery as well as the broader medical field;
• Scheduling follow-ups to monitor patients\xe2\x80\x99 well-being and to advise them on suitable aftercare measures and medication they might require;
• Building relationships with patients and providing support to their families wherever possible.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain choices to patients;
• In-depth understanding of the vascular system and excellent diagnostic skills;

• Good computer knowledge;
• Culturally competent.

Education & Qualifications:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of specialty qualification;
• PhD, Royal College, Fellowship, European/American/Canadian or Arab Board certified;
• Minimum 6 - 9 years experience post PhD or Board certification;
• Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
