Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and physical examinations to accurately assess oncology patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and medical history.
• Perform surgical procedures for the removal of cancerous tumors and lesions, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including symptom management and monitoring for complications.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment options, associated risks, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and radiologists in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
• Stay updated with advancements in surgical oncology and contribute to clinical research initiatives.
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior doctors, residents, and fellows.
• Uphold medical ethics, regulatory standards, and hospital protocols in all aspects of practice.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Residency training in General Surgery and fellowship in Surgical Oncology.
• Minimum of 5 years of consultant-level experience in surgical oncology.
• Valid UAE Ministry of Health license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and oncology expertise.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
