We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Psychiatrist to come and work with us. We need someone who is experienced in working with mental health patients and can help us provide the best possible care for our patients.

Psychiatrist Duties:

• Diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for patients based on psychological, social, and biological factors
• Schedule patients for appointments and discharge them following appointments
• Develop treatment plans for each patient
• Develop and maintain positive patient relationships and open communication tools
• Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients suffering from mental health disorders
• Explain treatment plans and patient progress to patients and their families
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective referral systems and protocols
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team such as nurses, psychologists, and social workers
• Work collaboratively with patients/family members to develop treatment plans
• Set up, maintain, and update patient information records
• Assist in managing patient records
• Continue education to maintain up-to-date on new medications and treatment modalities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:

• Doctorate or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in psychiatry or mental health counseling
• 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a practicing psychiatrist or licensed mental health counselor
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to mental healthcare

Requirements And Skills:

• Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up evaluations of patients
• Make assessments, diagnoses, and prognoses
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy
• Perform neuropsychological evaluations
• Provide referrals to appropriate outside resources
• Research and address all patient concerns
