As a Consultant PICU, you will be working in one of Dubai's top hospitals, known for its state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated medical team. You will be responsible for providing expert medical care to critically ill pediatric patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality and comprehensive care to patients in the PICU unit
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed
- Consult and collaborate with other medical specialists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Oversee and supervise junior medical staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in education and training programs for medical staff and students
- Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of work
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Board certification in Pediatric Intensive Care or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PICU, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team
- The candidate must have received Western training or education.
