Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert management of critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity PICU environment
• Perform advanced life-support procedures including mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Develop individualized treatment plans and closely monitor clinical progress
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, anesthetists, nursing teams, and allied health professionals
• Lead emergency response for pediatric critical cases and complex postoperative care
• Mentor junior doctors and PICU staff while contributing to structured education programs
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to international patient safety standards
• Participate in clinical research, audits, and continuing professional development

Ideal Profile

• Medical Degree from a recognized institution
• Board Certification in Pediatric Intensive Care or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Western training from USA, UK, Canada, or equivalent pathway required
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-board experience at consultant PICU level
• Proven expertise in advanced pediatric critical care techniques
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• Family-centered communication approach
• DHA Consultant eligibility or licensure in Dubai
