Key Responsibilities:
- Provides expert consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with digestive system disorders
- Conducts thorough physical examinations, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and prescribes appropriate treatments
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Educates patients and their families on proper care and management of their condition
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participates in departmental rounds, meetings, and case discussions
- Keeps abreast of advancements and developments in the field of pediatric gastroenterology
- Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations
- Provides mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or equivalent in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Western-trained education or experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric gastroenterology
- Fluent in English, Arabic proficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a multicultural environment
