Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Palliative Care to join a leading hosptal in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in palliative medicine, providing compassionate care to patients with terminal or debilitating conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient, outpatient, and home-based palliative care services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer expert guidance on pain management, symptom control, and end-of-life care.
- Educate and mentor hospital physicians, residents, and medical staff in palliative medicine.
- Initiate and conduct clinical research in the field of palliative care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and international best practices.
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in Palliative Medicine or relevant specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in palliative care.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with patients and healthcare professionals.
