Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Palliative Care (American Board) to join our client's team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in palliative care and hold a valid American Board certification in the field.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert consultation and advice to patients and families on pain management, symptom control, and psychosocial support during end-of-life care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans for patients with complex needs Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients Monitor and coordinate care for patients in hospice settings, long-term care facilities, and home care settings Educate and train healthcare professionals and other staff on palliative care principles and practices Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of palliative care Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and progress Provide guidance and support to patients and families in making difficult medical decisions, including end-of-life choices

Requirements:

Valid American Board certification in Palliative Care Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Palliative Care The candidate must hold an American Board, Canadian Board qualification. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficient in using electronic medical records systems Fluency in English, both written and verbal
