As a Consultant Paediatric Hepatologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to children with liver diseases, from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up care. Your role will also involve conducting research, supervising medical staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans for children with liver diseases
- Perform minor procedures, such as liver biopsies, as necessary
- Monitor and manage patients during and after treatment
- Conduct research and publish findings in academic journals
- Supervise and train medical staff, including residents and fellows
- Collaborate with other specialists to provide integrated care for complex cases
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in paediatric hepatology through continuous education and training
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Paediatric Hepatology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paediatric Hepatologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to children
- Must be Western-trained
