Allocation Assist Middle East is currently seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Paediatric Emergency Consultant to join our client's team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding medical care to paediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to children with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Conduct thorough and accurate medical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Perform emergency procedures and surgeries as needed
- Manage critical care cases and ensure timely and effective communication with other medical professionals
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices in paediatric emergency care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
- Act as a mentor and resource for junior medical staff and provide training as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of specialised training in paediatric emergency medicine
- Board certification in paediatric emergency medicine
- Relevant experience in a busy paediatric emergency department
- Strong understanding of emergency care protocols and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Must be eligible for licensure in Saudi Arabia or willing to apply
- The candidate must have received Western training or education
