Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to diagnose musculoskeletal injuries and disorders
• Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to guide treatment plans
• Design and implement individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment approaches
• Perform a wide range of orthopaedic procedures including fracture repair, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and corrective surgery
• Provide post-operative monitoring and rehabilitation plans to ensure optimal recovery
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on their condition, surgical process, and preventive care
• Maintain detailed medical records and document treatment outcomes
• Stay current with advancements in orthopaedic techniques, tools, and technologies
• Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of orthopaedic care standards

Job Requirements
Education:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completed orthopaedic surgery residency
• Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon role
• Proven expertise in trauma care, joint replacements, and sports injury treatment

Skills:

• High surgical precision and technical proficiency
• Excellent patient communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to lead and mentor junior medical staff
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and innovation in orthopaedics
