Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Orthopaedic Surgeon duties and responsibilities

\xe2\x97\x8f Interview patients to gather information on medical history, allergies, and lifestyle

\xe2\x97\x8f Diagnose patients using specialized equipment to identify bone fracture or defects

\xe2\x97\x8f Perform surgical procedures to realign fractured bones/ligaments or to replace joint/hip bones, etc.

\xe2\x97\x8f Prescribe medications and supplements as appropriate, and recommend nutrition, hygiene, lifestyle changes, and exercises to boost the healing process

\xe2\x97\x8f Provide surgical assistance and consultation to medical doctors and general practitioners

\xe2\x97\x8f Delegate tasks and coordinate the activities of nurses and other medical staff

Requirements:

Orthopaedic Surgeon requirements and qualifications

\xe2\x97\x8f Specialization degree and successful 5-year orthopedic surgical residency

\xe2\x97\x8f Board-Certified orthopedic surgeon and state licensure

\xe2\x97\x8f 5+ years experience as an orthopedic surgeon

\xe2\x97\x8f Proven success with relevant surgical procedures and non-surgical treatments

\xe2\x97\x8f Compliance with all laws and hospital policies
