Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive management of benign and malignant breast diseases including clinical evaluation, diagnostic planning, and surgical decision-making
• Perform advanced oncoplastic breast procedures such as therapeutic mammoplasty, volume displacement and replacement techniques, implant-based reconstruction, and autologous reconstruction
• Provide immediate reconstruction and contralateral symmetrisation where indicated
• Conduct consultant-level outpatient clinics, perioperative care, and long-term survivorship follow-up
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings with oncology, radiology, pathology, and plastic surgery specialists
• Drive clinical governance initiatives including audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and pathway optimisation
• Deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive communication to patients and families
• Mentor junior surgeons, residents, and nursing staff while supporting professional development
• Contribute to clinical research, innovation, and expansion of specialized breast services

Ideal Profile

• Board-certified Consultant Breast, Oncoplastic, or General Surgeon with fellowship training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
• Minimum 7-10 years of post-board certification experience in breast oncology and reconstructive surgery
• DHA Consultant eligibility or licensure in Dubai
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced oncoplastic and reconstructive breast techniques
• Experience within accredited breast units and strong multidisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent communication skills suited to diverse and multicultural patient populations
• Proven leadership and service development capabilities
