Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized NICU care for critically ill or premature newborns from admission to discharge
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, interpret results, and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Closely monitor infants and respond promptly to changes in their clinical condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated neonatal care
• Educate parents on neonatal care, feeding methods, and early developmental needs
• Maintain precise, confidential medical documentation for each patient
• Stay updated on advancements in neonatal medicine and apply new techniques when appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols
• Train and supervise junior medical staff and support professional development within the team

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare facility
• Western-trained education or clinical background required
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-family-centered focus
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, multicultural environment
• Strong decision-making ability and commitment to ethical, professional practice
